    at&t C905a / Enable Email Option

Is there anyway to enable the email option on an at&t branded C905a without debranding?

I did and it works great, however I work for at&t and it would be nice to be able to demo a lot of the features that come with the at&t firmware.

Trust me, you're only missing a load of features with the at&t firmware. Just debrand, and get WiFi and GPS unlocked.

I don't think the e-mail client is even in the firmware so there is no way you can enable it.

Yeap carrier-branded firmware sucks ball on SE phones. Unbranded SE TM506 (T-Mobile branded Z780) is a joy to use comparing to the T-Mobile branded one. Email (POP/IMAP), Exchange, SyncML, GPS-unlocked, and etc work great.

GPS doesn't appear to work with external programs. ie; Google Maps. It only works with programs that are built in. I have tried this on Branded and Un-Branded software.

Have you tried AmazeGPS yet? At least for the SE TM506, both Google Maps and AmazeGPS work with the built-in GPS.

Yeah unbrand it. The built in Email client on my K850i works great with my Gmail account. Set it to IMAP Idle and you get pretty much push email.

    No. Think: "Strategic partnerships".
