Yeah, those are really cheap now. Media-unlocked 920SH is now going for some 1000-odd RMB here (because everyone's buying SH9010Cs now) so I imagine a media-locked one must be going for pocket change.

It's GSM+3G. I just haven't been back recently so I have no clue if it's still there (well, the 500RMB one; there are plenty of more expensive ones to go around).

Now, about 2500RMB. That's about... C$410 (cash exchange rate, at XE rates it's about C$395). It hasn't depreciated very much compared to Nokia phones (the N96 depreciated faster here), but still faster than the SH9020C (which has depreciated all of US$60? US$70? over its existence on the Chinese market; it's still mad expensive even with the 3G version on the market, though I imagine that will pick up speed once the SH9030C hits the market; it can't stay that expensive forever and not piss off customers).

once the 9030C comes out the 923SH and its variants will be var cheap. And the inevitable 932Sh, 931Sh, 934Sh launches will make these phones even cheaper in the future

Dunno when my next chance to get back will be, though. I start college in 2 days, and my orientation is continuing tomorrow. I think I'll be busy until National Day holiday.

I'm sorry, you want *new, in box* keitais from three years ago? For $100-200? You can have it cheap or you can have it brand new in original box, pick one. A lot of "new" phones from that time period being sold now are refurbished.

    Last month, I bought a SH-01B used for HKD1,600 (USD200) in, say, 85% condition.
New ones are quite expensive. Range is HKD2,750 - HKD3,800. You'll have to pay more to get a software unlocked Docomo.
