Downgrading plan - what happens to fido dollars

I want to downgrade my plan.

Will my fido dollars be lost if I do this? Also, will I have to pay the "one-time activation fee of $35 per line applies."

If you downgrade your plan, you will simply earn less FD$ per month but what you have will remain.

If you are on a plan that launched before November 4, 2008 and are switching to a plan that is currently advertised on the Fido website you will be charged the setup fee (I think it's only $25 though)..been a long time since someone asked me.

I suggest you to contact Fido services, simply ask for a price plan change...There's a lot more price plans available in their side not listed in the website...So you won't pay any setup fee & still be able to get handset discount with a Fido agreement...

When reducing your plan cost, as WordIRC stated, your current Fido Dollar balance will remain the same but the new amount that you gain each month will be lower since it is based on a percentage of certain costs and since you will be paying less per month, you will be gaining less Fido dollars per month.
