Currently using a Motorola W385. Very good battery life (as long as I don't use Bluetooth), audio volume can be cranked up loud so you can hear the other person in noisy surroundings, very good reception, mini USB port (I didn't have to spend $$ on a special cable), hackable (thanks Fixup!!), can be unlocked by searching for the instructions here on HoFo. The voice recognition is kinda cool unless the Bluetooth device being used sucks.

When I was with Virgin Mobile, I had VM's "Cyclops" phone. That phone was a better texter than my Moto. And the Cyclops had a better camera.

For calls, Page Plus beats the crap out of VM coverage, signal and cost wise. But I had a better experience with picture messaging on VM with my Cyclops than I do with Page Plus. VM does picture messaging better and cheaper than Page Plus.

I started out on PP with my Nokia 3587i that I brought over from Alltel. I then got a Verizon prepaid Samsung U340, wasn't satisfied with it, then got my Verizon prepaid Moto W385.

i already had a custom rom on the phone without all of the sprint nonsense so it was that simple.

    I have a vx6000, a "gleam", a razr, and an env.
The 6000 was the most expensive, because it was bought new several years ago with-out a contract. like $300+. I laugh (or maybe cry) when I see them at $20 now. great phones.
The Razr was $20 used. I like it, but will sell it when offered $50.
The Gleam is my son's. He wants it to go online, but I can't figure it out (and couldn't afford it if I could).
The Env is mine, for business and personal. have been on same number with pp for years. the env is nice, holds a good charge. Hard to see in full sun, but most phones are. 2.0mp camera is da bomb. Picked up the Env for free from Brother-in-law. only have a car charger, but only have to charge every third day or so.

If anyone needs any furthur help with the settings for touchpro id be happy to help ( i consider it a repay of all the help ive already gotten on the forums).
