Can't get hubby to upgrade to a smart phone so he went from a Samsung Convoy U660 to the Casio G'zOne C781 Ravine 2.

Samsung Note 2 for 3 years now.

Incredible phone with 5.5 screen for $30 a month I saved quite a bit of money over that time.

My God I can't believe its been that long I had to look up my posts here to realize it.

Switched to a Nexus 5X back in April - great phone! No fuss, no muss getting it up and running on PP.

    burgundyyears,
Wondering if your Nexus 5X is Verizon Branded? And if you're having any problems with either text or voice mail?
    Thanks for your reply

No, I bought it online directly from the Google store as part of a Project Fi promotion. No texting issues at all. *86 reaches voicemail fine. I feel like at one point I got a voicemail notification and the notification didn't send me to voicemail quite correctly, but now I can't recall if that was this phone or a prior one. I get very few voicemails anyway.

LG VX560 flip phone. Small, thin, carry it in my pocket. Works fine. This is my last resort phone in case the smartphone out of range or it's battery is dead. Previously had a old Samsung flip phone that w/nt work in some Verizon areas.
In use 3 years, Cost averaged out over this time including service charges is around 8 cents per minute. Total spent over this time was around $150 (for voice and text). Could be whittled down to $30/yr if you only use 80 min/mo.
