Quicktime (unfortunately), unless you convert them. I do believe FFDShow can view / convert them as well.

searched but did not find anything
anyone know what program will play the 3gp videos on the computer?

WinFF can play 3gp.
or just download ffdshow-tryouts from anywhere on the web. That codec pack will let you play the 3gp files in windows media player.

anyone know a program that converts 3gp to another type of video file
super@ will recognize anything and encode to using any codec (AFAIK).Originally Posted by glennrobinson31
Make sure you use the same frame rate or else you will loose sync between audio and video. After you load the file to be encoded you can double click it in super@'s window and see the detailed encoding information.
You have to go through a few pages to get to the download, so here is the link.

I use VLC Media Player, should be able to play just about anything. Otherwise, you can always download the K-Lite Codec Pack

VLC says it can't play it. Any more suggestions for a good freeware for converting from 3gp to avi?
thats odd... i will have to try that @ home... did you install the codec pack also?
I think I installed everything. VLC actually does play it but it gives an error message before. If you click okay the video still plays. Not sure about the sound though. The error message says it can't play that type of file though.
