When is the SL55 coming to the US?

When is this phone officially coming to the US with providers like AT&T or Cingular?

I want to buy this phone, but it seems too Euro... especially with the charger that's not adapted to the US. Any insight will be appreciated. THX

I think Cingular is testing the SL56 right now... or that's what the latest buzz seems to be. There is no set date for the North American version (SL56) yet.

You can always get an adapter for the charger... I have never had a problem using an adapter on any Siemens fones I have owned and/or tried.

Also if you are worried about the charger just get the charger for a ct56 from Cingular it works too. In fact all the accessories for a ct56 works on the sl55.
