I am wondering... has anyone had success in getting the caller-ID w/ name display from the loyalty department... say, possibly for free?
1200 bonus minutes per line, sounds like a deal - I might try that sometime...![]()

You have to be an EXTREMELY heavy user to go through 7-8 GB's fast on the phone itself with no tethering.
I know data can go fast but unless you're constantly streaming for hours everyday then it doesn't go that fast from the phone. I own a Slingbox, have a Netflix subscription, a Hulu plus subscription, and a Rdio subscription and I still can't use up that much data in a couple of days. And I use each app everyday. Netflix/Hulu being the exclusion after switching to T-Mobile since there not Android compatible yet. But even on AT&T I would use more than my fair share of data and in a month would barely touch 8 GB's on my iPhone.
All I'm saying is just watch the usage and don't be a repeat offender because you're just asking to get flagged... unless you're using T-Zones in which case the data isn't registered.
But I guess it doesn't really matter since T-Mobile doesn't charge overages, the worst they will do is just throttle you.

T-Mobile. Connecting you when you need it most... disconnecting you when you need to connect with God's beautiful creation! Service is great in cities and highways, but in rural areas they leave you with just your surroundings. I encourage you to get T-Mobile, disconnect for a while!
I am glad that God is not like cell phone coverage. He does not hide behind mountains or loose us down long windy roads. The Lord levels mountains, and He makes our paths straight!

I've been wondering the same thing but I may just pay the extra $3 for the feature. Although I feel like real caller ID should be something included standard on all phones [landline & celullar].
Perhaps I'm a little confused, but why are there so many @Home charges?
Also call and get the $0.00 Family Allowance instead of $2.00.
Then take off the tethering charge unless they have physically blocked you. Everyone I know who has T-Mobile tethers with no problem and no charge.

I'm looking to see if they offer a preferred caller ID w/ name option. Or what are other preferred features I do not yet have?
Update: It is still very much possible to have the unlimited UMA soc added to lines. I had it done today to all my lines.

Ok, I finally got that dreaded nasty note about my data usage after I hit about 30 gig, saying I was being throttled down until the next billing cycle. So just out of curiosity I did some speed tests on multiple sites and servers, and found that not only was I not throttled, but I am actually running about 3 Mps faster! So what the heck is that all about?
Actually yes, I have been streaming a lot of video and some music- About 10 hrs a day during work, plus some weekend hours. Not to mention all the apps and games to get a new phone loaded.
Update: Changed some things in my plan

Scored this plan for a friend that signed up with T-mobile a few months ago. A quick call to retentions and a contract extension:
"Pref myFaves 400 NW" 39.99
"Any 300 Domestic Messages" 4.99
Internet 9.99
Much better than the "Even More" plan he had.
The iLife is cheaper on T-mobile.
THE best deal since late May has to be the Unlimited 4G Monthly plans. You have to have a Prepaid SIM, which they have on sale for $7 right now, waiting for it to show up. I'd be surprised if there was any way to port your current number to the Unlimited plans, but since I'm changing area codes, it is OK with me.

I rarely connect to the internet, so I'll be paying only $30/mo for all the talk and text I would normally use, and a bit of internet. And if I hit that 30mb internet, it just throttles, I'm pretty darned sure. Which is the same speed (EDGE?) I've been using anyway. As a twist, one could also buy the $10 ten day 100mb data prepay if needed. Or up to a $50 or greater plan.
I could also see in some circumstances using the $15/mo plan has a placeholder. Pay for 30 day's use, then let it expire. I think you have at least two months before they put your phone number back in the bucket. So, $5 a month to keep an inactive/low use/emergency phone and number. I think......
I was on unlimited minutes Loyalty Plan, but I had to add $5 for 300 texts and $10 for Unlimited But Slow Internet. With taxes, $75/mo. Now, essentially the same thing for $30. Wow. Sorta like MetroPCS but with a much better network.........until AT&T ruins our party.
