    Question

Do these updates erase any of the stored INBOX or OUTBOX messages? I've got a lot of pix and mms's that I want to save, but BITPIM wont download them and it would take forever (and cost too much) to forward them all to my email address.....any thoughts?

    Use QPST to save them.

Thanks...got the program, but which one do I use to get the INBOX stuff??
The EFS explorer looks like the logical one, but its the same at BITPIM....

...fyi I was able to do the upgrade using LGNPST...this program works for those who are using Vista or WIN 7.

You can't use QPST to save the txts like bitpim (at least I don't think so)
The only way is to take screenshots of the messages using the display capture app inside of QPST. The link above tells you how to set it up and use it. That is what I was referring to.

I just upgraded my phone with no problems at all. One item I noticed is back, is being able to add the calculator as a shortcut on the touch screen.

REALLY?! Unbelievable, an update that ADDS a feature and didn't take one away? This is so un-verizon! I can't believe they are listening ting to the customers now and trying to do something good.

Or am I missing something.....whats broke? What no longer works? Whats missing?

LGNPST also works with XP, incase anyone was wondering. For Voyager v11 firmware and above, including new LG phones, use LGNPST not LG Download. Nuked my black Voyager, but got a titanium. Lesson learned.

Going to take my phone in tomorrow for the update. I'd do it myself but I don't want to screw anything up.

does the update allow you to put the calculator on the shortcuts page again? V11 made it so you couldn't, which really bugged me.
