    So I got 'the call' today... she was useless, I pretty much hung up on her. She didn't understand that I'm doing a new agreement with Ambassador now and wasn't gonna pester for anything since the deal's right on the table waiting for me. This woman wasn't even offering me anything new, except for the whole '2 months of unltd. local calls' BS.

    She pushes for me to re-sign, and I politely told her 'please listen, I like Fido, I'm staying with them, and I work for a non-commission store. I'll be doing the upgrade through my co-workers, and they already know what I want. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day.'

    Hey Encore:

    I called twice today to switch my data to BB data and at the same time I wanted to switch my value pack to the 10$ retention pack.
    Both csr's said it didnt exist...
    I'm puzzled...

    What should I do?

    Ya ya of course, I understand that... There are lots of factors that come into play when its time to give a cx a deal...

    But what I was thinking is that maybe it wasnt available anymore or something like that...

    they do have it
    they just dont want to offer it to u
    cause its a addition discount on ur account to make ur plan that is already cheap even cheaper

    So its just a hit and miss depends if u get a new CSR that doesnt look into the whole account

    I just called today and they gave me this plan:

    $35 monthly retention plan
    200 daytime
    unlimited even at 7pm + wkd
    unlimited fido to fido
    call display
    voicemail
    2500 text
    no saf or 911
    u have to sign a 2 year agreement


    The only problem is that like cellphoneSTAR has already quoted, they normally offer it for $25, so I'm being screwed
    I'm gonna call them again tomorrow and see what they can offer


    EDIT: by the way, when you call the second time, what exactly do you say?
    I mean won't they just look at the notes in the file and see what I was already offered? what argument should I use for them to basically change their offer?

    there are 4 possibilities
    1. you have heard wrong and it is $25
    2. you are recieving unlimited incoming
    3.you are recieving unlimited fido to fido & ROGERS
    4. You pissed off the retention rep enough that they decided to make a new SOC code that charges u a extra $10 a month for no reason

    I pick option 2. There is no $35 retention plan with that configuration.

    Either way that is some redicolous plan you got there. Just features cost 15 bucks (assuming Rogers/Telus/Bell in comparasion to the smartphone bundle 15), and I quite sure it'll be one hard plan to compare
