I need to revamp my plan, specifically I need more data and daytime minutes. This plan used to be adequte but I'm using my phone a lot more now.

This is what I currently have:

100 Daytime/1000 E&W @ 5PM/Unlimited Incoming - (+$25.00)
$10 Monthly Credit - (-$10.00)
$30 iPhone Data Value Pack - (+$30.00)
1000 Canadian LD Mintues - (+$10.00)

Total before taxes - $55.00

I definitely need Canadian LD wether it be 1000 or unlimited. My daytime mintues I'm starting to go over so that needs to be bumped up and I've gone over my data a few times and each month it's cutting it very close so I need to amp that up. I would personally like to stay at the same price point or cheaper. Suggestions?

Unfortunately you can't virtually ask for more and at the same time ask to spend the same or less.

Simply because you already have a lot of features thanks to your Retention Data Value Pack.

Customer Relations might be able to offer you:

$35.00=Unlimited Local Calls, No Zone.
$30.00=6GB of Data.
$10.00=1000 Minutes LD.
$20.00=iPhone Value pack (CD+VVM, unlimited SMS & MMS)

$95.00 Before taxes...

If you keep your $10.00/1000 Min LD I think you might be able to keep the $10.00 monthly credit...

...If $85.00 / $95.00 is too expensive, well you can chose these:

$30.00= Fido Basic Plan= 200 Min. Week Days, Unl Eve+W-E @ 5PM. Unl SMS in Canada & International.

$25.00= 500MB Data, Overage is $5.00/500MB.

$10.00= iPhone Value Pack.

$10.00= 1000 Min. LD.
$10.00= Monthly Credit.

$65.00 Before taxes if they let your monthly credit.

Maybe consider koodo:
$25 150 minutes (since you are only starting to cross 100), evenings/weekends after 5PM, Unlimited Canadian Long distance
$10 VP, Voice Mail (regular), CID, unlimited international MMS and SMS
$5-$30 flex data. Your usage at just over 500MB would be $20, up to 1 GB
=$55

Other than VVM, you get a lot more than you have now for the same price. Regular retail, no begging for credits required. But if you do beg, you might get the VP reduced a little.

At the very least, bring this example to give them the chance to meet it (or heaven forbid, beat it). Don't hold you breath, but give them the opportunity.

I need to renew within the next two months, and I wanted to know if I had any chance to renew my credits (I heard it was harder to renew credits nowaday). I would also like to add some data, do they still offer flex data plan?

Unfortunately for you, there's slim chance to get those credits renewed. Also don't expect to have any handset discount if ever you want the Retention Flex Data Option.

Plus this data option is only available with a Data Fido Agreement...

Better call Fido and ask what they can do for you...

^Seems like a standard retail package with a few retentions credits. If Bell's take away offer is better than Fido's retentions offer, I would give Fido one more chance but continuing to beg for more is unlikely to be successful and not worth the hassle.

yup for the IP4S and nope for newer phones ... I bet the next phone for Fido will be the GN but in Jan 2012
