Fido Answers received couple upgrades. One of them is re-route a Fido subscriber to a specific department.
So yes it's possible.

Until they get that routing issue fixed. Retention shouldn't be taking frontline calls unless are really slow and everyone else is busy.
i just called today. the woman on other line was veeeeery cold. i have unl. NA + text., call display . she didnt give me anything. absolutely nothing. i know unlimited are not eligible, but i expected credit for call display at least. she was willing to cancel my account instead.
waaaw, i was and still am shocked.
^ why? You called a line that is setup for cancellations...
Some reps don't want to hear sob stories about how you need credits - i've seen my fair share of those. Just try again, they are following strict policies [albeit they don't follow or honor them at times when my dad HUP'd they seriously ****ed up]

seriously ? am i in thread related to retention, loyalty or??? if i am in not correct one please advise me where to go. what is my problem? i called, tried to negotiate with retention and they just ignore me. are you asking me where is problem? really?
There may be reasons she gave you nothing - maybe she was restricted by policy. Maybe you already pay the min for the features you have. At the end they may choose to cancel since you usually have to threaten to cancel to get to retentions in the first place.
I'm not telling you anything that you can't just google for yourself

i see. so what phrase is the best to use to get to retention dep. ? obviously i haven;t talked to retention or retention pick it up bc she didn't transfer me . i always thought the best is to use " wanna cancel my account" and they transfer you to retention.i might be wrong. is there some better method? thanks.

I have been successful saying that my package was set up by customer relations and I would like to modify my --------- <---- fill in blank. Always works for me. Being polite and nice gets you far - not to imply you were not before but threatening to cancel always puts a person's defenses up.
