Is this plan I got any good (no contract)?
100 anytime, unl evenings/weekends, 500mb data, caller id, voicemail, 30 long distance, unlimited texting for $45 + tax (no SAF)?
I guess what I meant to ask was, what does $25 get you (including saf but before taxes) with the loyalty department nowadays?
Like what's the $25 "loyalty plan" before any credits?
The regular fido plan is 100 minutes, unlimited evenings weekends and texts.
There's couple price plans around 25.00$. You have to call and ask. But your father is currently having total package with 400 Min. Week days/ 1000 Eve/W-E and Unl. Incoming at a really low cost...It will be really hard to get more for the same price...
MUAHAHA, ya, that's going to be a crash and burn phone call. Good luck with getting a retention plan on a new activation. Bahahaha
lol shuld add I already have 1 line open with Fido, im just trying to get a new activation with retentions on a 2nd line, wonder if they will give me the 25 dollar plan everyone else seems to be getting.
After three seperate calls, I finally got the CSR to match my "friend's" famous $25 retention plan with iphone 3GS.
$25 (3 year)
200 daytime, unlimited fido to fido, unlimited evening/weekend.
Call ID, Voicemail, 2500 sms.
No system access fee no 911
$30 6GB DATA (2 Years left)
Iphone 3GS 32GB 299+TAX
Total = $55+tax/month
Upgrading from
$20 - $10 credit
200 daytime, 1000 fido to fido, unlimited evening/weekend,
+$10
Caller ID, Voice mail, 125 sms, who call
+SAF + 911
$30 6GB DATA (2 Years left)
Total = 58+TAX/month.
So I will be paying 3 dollars less and gets unlimited fido to fido and 2500 sms instead.
Now I've noticed that the voice mail will appear as a credit and since I will be getting an iphone. Will the voice mail credit conflict with the iphone?
No it won't, because it's part of the price plan itself...

You can't have a retention price plan on a newly activate line...since Nov-04-2008...

Is this after tax or before tax? I tried to get your type of plan but they quoted me at $71 pre-tax. They also told me this was before SAF and 911. They wouldn't budge or anything.
I believe this is after tax.
Sorry to hear that they wouldn't budge on the SAF and 911. Funny though... I went in looking for another plan but when I got to retentions, they gave me an even better deal (more personalized to what I wanted) than what I originally hoped for.
