Just got off the phone with fido for the 3rd time after a 2-week period.

They offered me for 2yr contract:
200 minutes
Unlimited weekday after 7pm & unlimited weekends
F2F
2500 Txt
V.M.
Unlimited Inc

$25 + tax.

I tried to ask for CID but couldn't get them to give me at all.
The gentleman told me the option is no longer there, and that fido took it out 1 month ago.

How do i go about getting that option, it is crucial to me and I have been with fido for 5 years now. It would be nice to get the weekday after 5pm as well, but again he said that's no longer an option.

but the problem is, I am currently paying 8$ for FidoPro, which includes CD/VM/Unlimited txt(CAD) and email notifications...

The two options together would conflict I presume right?
So either keep the fidopro or remove it, add the $10 + CD and VM....

Hey guys!

I have been a Fido CSR for 3 months now...started at billing and then moved to Loyalty for the last month until I become a retention agent next week. I am pretty nervous but I am a good Loyalty CSR and I know it's sort of the same thing as retention with a bit more challege but I have more tools to work with. Going to be fun!

I've been a fido customer since 2001. Back in march I switched my plan to the new no saf plan. I've tried to get a better deal and called retention department 3 times this past month and all they've been telling me is there is nothing they can do for me. I can't even upgrade to an Iphone even if I sign a 3 yr contract there is really nothing but to cancel my line and sign up for a new line, which is something I really do not want to do. I've had the same number since 2001. I currently have no contract with fido. What can you suggest I do to get a better plan? Can I contact you directly so you can offer me a better monthly plan?

So it's what i would like, i wanted to add some MMS LD and unlimited incoming. Am i expecting to get too much, or is any better plan for me? Also F2F is not really a option for me since a live in a place where fido is almost no present at all. Visual voice mail is important for me, it's a feature that i really like compared to EVM. What do you think?

To refresh your memories a little (quoted directly from the opening post of this thread):

All "loyalty" based threads including "loyalty offers", "retention offers" and "winback offers" should now be in this thread instead of the original "retention thread".

I was forced to lock and un-sticky the previous thead because there was far too much inappropriate exchanges going on in there among certain members. This will not be tolerated in this thread! Stick with the subject at hand as it can develop into a very useful source of information brought in by both customers and CSR's. As that previous thread did contain some valuable information, I will link to it here.

To refresh everyone's memories:

Let's keep in mind that the Fido Forum serves both Customers and Employees (in any form). It is our hope that the collaboration which exists here will be beneficial to both parties. There are, however, some caveats to keep in mind:

• Rudeness and arrogance will not be tolerated and said behaviour are grounds for a ban from the forums. It is important that members refrain from flaming or bashing others. If you don't have anything nice to say, please don't say it at all.

The inability for employees to get along with customers and vice versa must cease immediately.

As a customer, if you're going to post about how you were "short-changed" by Fido or how Rogers has been transforming Fido into a carrier far from how it was back in the day, please word it properly.

Conversely, if you're an employee and you don't like how the members are out hunting for a good deal, realize that this is the customer's prerogative. If you cannot help a customer, don't tell them to get lost (tiring and annoying as it may be). It's unprofessional and unacceptable. This type of response, along with other rude, arrogant, or condescending responses will result in a ban.

• Circumventing the swear filter is not allowed.
• Posting a CSR's extension or any other contact information is prohibited.
