~27 months left on a 36 month agreement. AFAIK you must be in a 2+ year contract to get the $25 plan. If you have less than a year left they'll ask you to renew.
Of course. They do not really give out deals to month to month users...Originally Posted by camry298

Some people never take contracts though, which I find slightly strange. My woman has been with Fido 7+ years and still refuses to take a contract even though I keep pointing out to her all the deals she's missing.
thx for the reply.Let me call them at Monday.
You should see what i get with one year of service from themOriginally Posted by LittlePud

BTW, each time i called to change up plans, i DID not resign 'new' contract...
I think the first time i call retentions was after 2 months of service... lol

Hey again guys,
My dad would like to have a cell phone. Now I have many phones at home so I'll give him one.
My question is, is there a way I can get him a deal on a plan without a contract if he adds a second line to his account?
I'm paying close to 90$/month already...
What are the options?
He doesnt need much, something like 200 minutes all together per month and that will be too much still! LOL

there's no way you can get a deal without going on a 2yr-3yr contract.. and even if you were to go on contract, the only plans you can add now is the ones on fido.ca, which doesn't qualify for retention. the only other opinions i can see is to do a TOR from someone who has the $25 retention plan (cuz that's the only plan that you can do a TOR with)Originally Posted by vincent88
I doubt they will give you any free options.. but then of course, you can always give them a call.
Ya that's what I though as well. I just had no clue what the whole adding a line meant to them. But ya; no contract prolly means nothing.
Thanks!

So if you've got more than a year left on your agreement, you can just call up and ask for this retention plan, without having to renew? If so, that's cool. Can anybody else confirm this?Originally Posted by LittlePud
I haven't been keeping track lately, but I thought credits weren't going to be given out as much now, let alone getting a retention plan. How the hell do some people get the $25 retention plan. The guy I talked to a couple months ago didn't really want to give me that $10VP (one with 2500 text) since I already have $17.50 EPP. Man you lucky callers are lucky.
@Encore. How you doing girl. Haven't seen you post around lately. :P
