I meant that poster should validate information before posting.
Many old WM tricks and tips were for other older devices, you have to validate to see if it still applies for TP2 .
For example, H icon info is no longer in registry \HKLM\Driver\BuiltIn\ on TP2; you open it, you know that.
PPL does not own the device, so they never could not know, but still spread info for the TP2 , I know you are lying.
"Advance tools (current version) " many functions are not working for TP2 , if you tested you should know that.

Coolphone, there are and never have been CONSUMER devices available that perform "dual attach" on GPRS/GSM. The standard DOES support it, but there have never been terminals (phones) made that are capable of it.
Ergo, when you get a call data is suspended on those networks - not because the network demands it, but because the firmware and such have never supported it on consumer GSM/GPRS/EDGE devices.
Where or How do I set up a free Push Email account? I use to have one with mail2weblive but they kinda revised things and now they are charging. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
So I have a SIM that dates from about 2000. The first time I power cycled my TP2 it freaked the hell out of me. It seems when the TP2 boots the phone service does not come on until the SIM has finished initializing, unlike on older phones where the phone would start but the contents of the SIM would not be available until it had completed. Now the old SIM I have takes almost 2 minutes to start, so when the phone came up and I saw I had no phone service, and the phone service wouldn't start from comm manager I was in a real panic. Only had the phone for 3 days. Was I really going to have to go through the return process...? Well of course initially I didn't wait long enough so kept trying things until I decided to reinitialize the phone. Still no luck so took SIM out and low and behold phone came straight up all be it in 911 only mode. So reached over to my wife's phone and pulled her SIM (much newer) and tried that. Yup phone came straight up. Back to mine no joy, so while I was thinking about what to do suddenly phone came up. Spoke to tech and yup I need a new SIM or else have a slow booting phone...

I have old Voicestream SIM ( I think it was purchased in 1998~1999), it works pretty well on TP2. no slow bootup.
If you think your old SIM has problem for new device, call 611 to activate the new SIM comes with TP2 kit.
I found that this keyboard config freeware (not sure what the name is) that allows you to map the back button to a program or other function. It has settings for multiple applications assigned to one button, but it doesn't work - only works for one application. I was just happy to map it to a software that I used called "taskswitch" (also freeware). It's like using ALT TAB on a PC to switch to open applications. It's a lot more useful than the default "back" button function.
You'll also need to install mortscript first to get it to work. There's a link to it in the thread.

I ordered a new T-Mobile branded SIM card (actually 2) from Ebay for like $2.50 shipped. Just write down the number, put it in the phone, and call T-Mobile and give them the SIM# to activate the new SIM card. It takes like 60 seconds. Otherwise, you pay T-Mobile $25-30 for a new SIM.
Picked one up in the store wednesday... Now I'm The older east coast SIMs are "roaming" as they are set up with the old Omnipoint network codes and apparently the OTA SIM update can't reset that in that generation of SIM.

Direct access to bt menu, go to \windows and find btmanager.exe, and copy the file to \windows\start menu\programs.
Next time when you access Programs, you'll see BTManager, and you can put it to menu or touchflo menu.
