Question about internet plan for SK08

I just got my kid a SK08 for her birthday, bought it used off craigslist for $40. Previous owner didn't buy any additional games or anything for it. I'm wondering if it is possible to sign up for the internet but only keep it for like a month then take it off. Have for a month or even less just to get some games and apps?

Every game & app has to be purchased in the Download Catalog on the phone, and most have a cost.

Also, if you take the internet plan off, if the phone dies or gets a hard reset (battery taken out), the SK will lose all contacts, texts, and possibly the games you've downloaded. The SKs only have flash memory and everything is communicated through a server, as far as what info you've put on the phone.

So, while you technically CAN, i'd highly advise against it.
