BTW, these are the necessary files to debrand the w518a to the SE w508 -

W508_R1EA030_MAIN_GENERIC_BR_RED53.mbn
W508_R1EA030_FS_APAC-ANZ_RED53.fbn
and W508 (C905)_1209-4780_R7A_GENERIC_APAC-ANZ

is it not possible to do this just by changing the CDA? I tried by changing it to some generic american 508 CDA (1223-9003) but SEUS won't update it, and now I can't seem to put another Customize_upgrade file on the phone.

so, If it can't be done that way, how do I do it your way, where do I get those files, and how do I use them?

however i don't like that the volume buttons are system info and the right soft button is google, what do to change those, is it something I put into that .zip file?

I see Dragon's initial complaint and want to get rid of the media net default button as well. However, I'm a newbie. What software do I need to download?

I debranded using Wotan and I use the internet, but I haven't been able to get youtube.com to stream, nor any video to stream via the internet. Also, since I used the w508 firmware to get the SE menus, the GPS is no where to be found... any help with this? And it looks like Google Maps, the jar/wap application, doesn't seem to recognize the GPS antenna.

Please help!
