It rings whatever numbers you tell it to.
It only has one voicemail though, and it's its own.

Will it ring both numbers and leave voicemail at each number if no one picks up? Or it just waits for the first one to answer?
I'm thinking of gving to my kids schools so it will coward the calls to both me and my wides phone at the same time

Like lgreenberg said, it won't leave VM at each number but rather, leave it at your GV voicemail repository which you would access via the GV web page. Note however that if you choose to turn off Call Presentation (which would then allow you to answer any calls made to your GV number w/o having to first press any numbers) and a call to your GV number is picked up by a voicemail system, any message left by the caller will not appear in your GV inbox (but will be on the answering machine that picked up the call).Originally Posted by Junkhead

I've watched the gv snip its and just want to get input. It is my understanding when making a outbound call online through GV, you call your landline; when it rings pick it up dial your gv# then press #2 then the long distance number you want to all (all from landline). Is is correct that there is no charge to your landline for the long distance call?
Thanks in advance,

Dial your GV number, press * when you hear a ringing tone then it will ask you to type in your PIN. Press 2 and then dial the number you wish to reach. No internet, No switching phones. Easy as 1 2 3. Try it and you can thank me later![]()
