Very few of those third party browsers, skyfire, ucweb, etc. will work with this plan; I've tried them all. The only one that does work is OperaMini.

Bolt web browser works over Goam(gorogers) its nothing too special, but it works.

    Browser on $7.00 Pygo ULB

Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta works very well on WM and is much superior to the mini. They have a Symbian version.

Occasional out of memory messages but usually not a problem.

    Question

Ok I've been trying to understand but I'm not familiar with many of the terms.

But basically my concern is, if I get a Blackberry I would like to surf the web. Going onto the Rogers site and clicking 'add ons' -> Mobile Internet for phones says this can be done for $10/month. True/False?
it's just a phone, is it really that big of a deal?

From what I've been told, since Rogers determines eligible phones by IMEI, blackberries can't use the $10 UL plan.

Sorry if I'm asking a repeat question - I could not find an answer on this one.

Can we use JoikuSpot to share the unlimited surfing plan?

Would be cool if you could get basic browsing shared.....

Are you certain? Because the link for the $10 web plan has a picture of a BB Bold on it!

Wow you are right. And I can't find anything in writing about ineligible devices on the Rogers site.

Sounds interesting... But wouldnt that defeat the purpose of a actual data plan?

Not if you are limited to GoRogers under the $10 plan. There are speed and port limitations.
