    Prepaid for business.

Anyone know if any of the prepaid providers have business support? Meaning that if I order a few lines, that I can have one account with all the information and payment options. I don't really want to sit around all day logging into each account individually.

Basically, I don't want contract phones, prepaid is generally cheaper, and I don't want to get some surprise bill for a few grand because an employee starts, I dunno, calling Egypt or goes on a cruise and forgets to turn his email off.

I guess if no prepaid provider has business support then the next best thing is to probably setup auto-pay with the bank to send a check out for each account when due. Just got to make sure that if someone leaves that we don't keep sending the checks.

You might want to check out Flexion. They specialize in business support prepaid on the Verizon network. Flexion wireless. They supposedly require a lot of lines and are medium business support and up but email/call them and find out more.

If all of the calls are domestic and there is a reasonable chance that the employee will use more than 400 minutes a month, I would go with Page Plus's 1000 minute/text or unlimited call/text plan. The unlimited plan is $39.95 plus sales tax (figure about $42 a month per line). Put the plans on automatic payment on your credit card, then there is no need to check calling history to see that the calls are all company related -- especially with unlimited. This only works if your employees don't have a heavy need for internet-based programming on the phone -- the plans come with 20 MB a month.

Flexion would be nice but they want 50 lines minimum, I only need 4 at the moment and growth really depends on when the recession ends as I'm selling computers made to order.

For now having each account separate isn't actually an issue, it's just that I like to plan for expansion and IMO it's easier to get everything setup when the business is still small rather than re-organizing later. Also have a bad habit of wanting to figure out every possible problem.

Page Plus seems like it might work, unlimited internet isn't really something we need. It would be nice and all but it's not really needed. If this was a 100 employee company then perhaps I'd say yes it's needed but at that point I probably wouldn't be all that worried about postpaid either as I could afford any unforeseen costs.

    Other considerations might be -

    1. Access to call records / call details - http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1565022

    2. GPS locating ( Kajeet only ? )

    3. Coverage (and potential roaming fees).

Depending upon your business needs , it may be better to choose a postpaid plan . Sprint seems to be the low price leader at the present time . They might have program for small business (>x# of lines).

I know PagePlus allows you to view multiple phone line details under one online account, not sure if there is a limit.
Looking to buy something online? Try getaproduct.com

Would still be interested in selling my Motorola i930. Not in the best condition (outside lcd screen doesn't work, spring to flip the phone shut won't click closed anymore) - but hey, that just means I'd sell it for less . Unlocked and decerted, of course . PM me if interested.

    Flexion

Is lowering their requirement to 5-10 lines when they are out of Beta, which should be October. $19.99 blackberry and pooling minutes seems pretty interesting. There is also talk of an unlimited blackberry talk and text shared program coming soon they said 4th quarter.

    A couple of things:

    1) Though not prepaid, there's CBeyond, offering service (wireless, wireline, and Internet bundles) that is small-business centric

    2) I think your prepaid for business idea is great... I might very well start a business based on it (if I win the lottery)
