Also the password on the WAP tab is your ESN, don't use the one on my screenshot. I assume you didn't, but just in case...
not to wake the dead but...

when you say ESN, do you mean the MEID that Koodo calls my ESN or do you mean the ESN that is displayed in CDMA Workshop?

also, in the screenshots above, are you suggesting i actually change "...@par..." to "...@microbrowser..." in the NV Editor, or just in the Java app itself?

    Thanks

    Hi lexcorps104,

Unfortunately I haven't had the Keybo for quite some time (I'm an Android fan now) so I can't be sure which ESN I meant. I don't think I would have compared mine to the box or CDMA workshop, probably one in the battery compartment.. but I don't know if it would have been labelled correctly as you suggest.

The change from @par to @microbrower is all done in NV Edit on the Data tab, and that's only if you want to gain internet access to your java apps.

I should also clarify what I meant when I said "I blacked out @par. in the 2nd screenshot of the data tab". I meant that I accidentally blacked out @par, instead of just the phone number. If that wasn't obvious to people already.

    thanks for the quick reply!
I'd love to be able to switch to a Galaxy S or something but no spare $$ at present... figured doing the flash will renew my interest in the phone for a little while longer.

I installed Opera mini and it is getting internet access without having changed anything to microbrowser... in your opinion, does that mean I probably won't have to change it at all?

    thanks again

I seem to remember that Opera would connect without changing the setting but only because it had a couple of different connection options in its settings. I don't think most java apps have the same options and will require the change. Only one way to find out I guess since my memory is so fuzzy.

Have you (or anyone) ever been able to successfully run Nibuzz on Kebo?

    3 points to add

If your device is esn, the pw is esn in decimal
If your device is meid, the pw is meid in HEX

For evdo use only, you do NOThave to repair esn/meid, they are not verified. Ie: you can data share as long as both people are not using the same tower at the same time. Ie: when data sharing you must not be near each other. Also connecting between data sharing users directly will not work, ie: vnc, etc
25GB Cap? DIY Telnus prepaid/Koodo unlimited EVDO internet (for $10 per 2 months, to keep account "Active"), Max 3Mbps download speed, if you roam on Bell (free), then you get non-NATed IP
