I did try to put the sim card into a regular phone while I was in the rogers store. Nothing seemed to happen once I put it back into my phone. I did get a signal for a few minutes but once I turned the 3g off and switched it to gsm the signal died. Is it possible something could be wrong with the hypersim card?

For Rogers users if you have the Rogers 4000 series sim card your sim will only work with one type of hypersim and that's Inex.

So if you got something else other than 4000 series then it could be your hypersim that's damaged or you didn't CPR long enough.

I'm actually not even 100% sure as to what type of hypersim card it is. The person I bought it from didn't say what type of card it was. So that might be my problem. Are inex cards easy to find?

You can find it on Ebay or google around for their site (no idea...I havent bought any hypersims for a year or so).
You can just check to see if your rogers sim card is a 4000 series sim card. It should say on the card in one of the row of texts.
Contrary to popular belief I'm not really obsessed or in love with tofu as a food, sure its good and all but I'm not in love with it. Someone else typed this name for me when I was registering >_>

ps. For future reference just qoute me as Tofu instead of the whole name....sounds too cheesy LOL

was the regular phone you cpred in sim-locked? i've read somewhere that sim-locked phones dont cpr well. try a factory unlocked phone.,

The phone I tried to cpr in was a sim-locked phone. I don't have access to anyone with an unlocked phone. I'm actually having a hard enough time finding someone with a phone that requires a sim card, especially a phone that doesn't have a micro sim card. I'd do it myself in my blackberry but they aren't the same size card. I'll have to go back to the rogers store and try to cpr it again, for longer.

My hypersim card is a "cnsimcard" I might try to get my hands on another hypersim and see if that makes a difference as well if cpr doesn't work again for me.

So, now I'm thinking it is my hypersim card because whenever I turn it on now it's saying to insert uim. I've tried taking it out and putting it back in but no matter what it isn't reading the card.
