    cheapest phone for tethering?

so, my mom would like to have internet access anywhere she goes and I thought thethering off of 3g would probably be the cheapest way for her to do it.

What phone do ya'll recommend, I know I can get the mytouch 3g and do it, but I don't think she's gonna like the touch screen.

Wouldn't the TM506 be less expensive than a Dash?

Find a TM-506 off CL or eBay... Pray you can get the 5.99 or 9.99 data plans..

TM506 is the best (cheap + HSDPA). You will have no problem adding the $9.99 web2go data plan. You still might be able to get the $5.99 T-Zones plan if talk to the right CSR. I tried 3 times (online chat) with no success even though I had it in the past.
