Would love to see this happen, but as of right now I do not think their is a way or keyboard app like that. I asked this a few months back, but no one ever came up with anything.

Why in the world would you want a T9 keypad when you have a QWERTY keyboard at your disposal? That's like going from OS X back to DOS. People pay extra for handsets with a QWERTY keyboard because it allows for much easier and more accurate text entry than T9.

Throw in auto complete like the one that Haykuro made for the MT3G and its awesome when typing or texting on the go. I like the iphone's full QWERTY, don't get me wrong, but with the option to choose between keyboards...it would make this phone even betterOriginally Posted by XFF

It's like putting a 4 cylinder in a Ferrari...
Are you going to teach these people to fish, or just keep feeding them???
I'd take this 4-cylinder any day of the week...Originally Posted by SimTech

There is T9App in the App Store for $1.99. You have to copy and paste your text into the SMS message window when done.

Here's another one - Keypad 2, with T9 go to http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/keypad-2/id510282920
No copy and pasting required... not 100% perfect but pretty good versus some of the other Apps like it...
