i did everything step by step till i got to this step.
Further down on programming screen SIP User ID is mobilenumber@vzw3g.com
SIP Password is vzw
If there is another field that contains an email address, replace it with mobilenumber@vzw3g.com
At the very bottom you should see DMU MN Auth, set it to 00111111
Press the Menu button and select Save
Phone should restart
Done
there is no SIP username or password when i do ##000000
i did over 6 verizon and alltel phones, they did have the SIP but on this sprint blackberry there isnt, so is there a different way to do it other than manual programing?

The qcn file needed for Sprint 8130 & 8330 berrys is provided to people that purchase the guide for setting up Sprint blackberrys.
I only have been able to get the 8130 & 8330 to work on Page Plus with Data
There are guides with step by step directions on setting up most Blackberrys to get data working on non Verizon handsets.
I dont read the forums as often as I use to so feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
I am using CDMA ws and I have Rim 8330 connected to desktop mgr, additionally the 8330 is in DM mode and connect to CDMA ws, however when I try to read the SPC from Security tab, i get error, especially when i try to read SPC from Universal Ram mode, any suggestions???

My sister just gave me her 8830, but the mini-USB jack is broken. I bought a docking charger on ebay for like 20 bucks, only thinking about the charging issue, but didn't really give a lot of thought to hooking it up to the PC. Can I get around this issue, maybe with a bluetooth connection? I'm trying to avoid paying 60 bucks to have it fixed, and I don't think my skills are up to par with soldering it myself.

I am not sure it will allow you to load books or not. I am pretty sure you wont be able to use other programs; such as QXDM or QPST...
Page Plus is no longer allowing Blackberrys or Palm Treo according to my Master Distributor. Guess that makes this thread dead...
Why would they do that? RIM already killed BIS, so why would it matter....it's basically just another phone now.
I personally do not understand why, it must be Verizon cracking down on Page Plus. Or too many cry babies calling into CS crying. I personally think it sucks.
We aren't suppose to activate InPulse, Blackberry's or Palm Treos...
Are you saying that even if you already have a Blackberry on PagePlus but don't have internet set up you will never be able to get it to work?Originally Posted by FlipItCellular
I would think that if data was already on, you could still get Internet to work but I doubt that PP would enable it if it's not already on.
I am saying as of the other day, you can not get a Blackberry activated (get a Page Plus number). If you have one already activated, you can still call CS and have them turn data on. Tell them you know hte handset is not supported but you still want data/MMS to be activated on the account.
