Ok, I know we are talking the barrage here and I love mine, but I also know you guys realize I have purchased the samsung convoy as a second device and I have already had one replaced because of signal issues.
I have got into the test menu and turned EVDO off and the phone is holding a steady signal now on par with my barrage.

Now as good as I like the barrage, I have just paried the sammy up to my stereo bluetooth headphones and am listening to music and the sammy has a better MP3 player, much clearer.

Anyway, just thought id update the ones who are following my tests.

Thats right.
One thing that I dont like about samsung is they try their best to lock you out so you cant do anything with them.
One thing I dont like is that you cant bluetooth ringtone to it, well like it is, theres prob. some kind of hack you have to do.
Anyway, im gonna do some testing with it and see how it does signal wise for a few days at least.

got mine today, just got home and installed it.
I like the battery door better, it doesnt have the rubber feel to it.
The rubber has something like a clear coat on it and my first one peeled real bad, this one looks like it may start peeling soon.
This extended cover is made like the flip part of the phone, I like it better.
