It seems like they are shoving a bit more in the newer phone when win 6.5 comes out. I am wondering if when 6.5 comes out and we are able to download it if they will offer a newer version of touchflow like in the imagio and eventually vcast tv? I think the TV part is doable because the sprint tp2 can do tv, It would be lovely to see the newer touch flow on this phone.
It's a pain that that phone comes out and they get those plus a 5mp cam with auto focus and anti shake.

No! The Imagio is the ONLY PDA phone with the MediaFLO UHF TV Streaming tuner installed.

Would we at least get a newer version of touchflow to go along with the windows 6.5?
Something like this would be nice

Looks like it's running on a TP2, would love to know if it will come to us when 6.5 comes out.

They should have sold the TP2 for 250-300 and stuck it with a 5mp camera and tv.

Then the Imagio would have lost a lot of its appeal. The Imagio and TP2 and designed for 2 very different types of customers in mind: The tech savvy business user (TP2) vs. the tech savvy media addict (Imagio).
A slice of bread will always land peanut butter side down. If, by chance, you put peanut butter on both sides of the slice, it will float forever.

The tp2 will get the new touch flo 3d interface aswell as windows mobile 6.5 update soon. Im not sure but hopefully we will get the updates with in the next 4-6 weeks.

We will not get the Vcast Tv because the tp2 doesnt have the tuner unlike the Imagio. I had the Voyager for 2 years and hardly ever used the vcast tv feature. But it would be nice if it was included but its not.

The reason why the 3.2 mp doesnt bother me because typically the higher the mp the worse the photo quality can be. The reason is because you are trying to fit all those pixels in a cheap thin lens. Unless you are getting one of the Casio or Kodak phones the mp wont matter much. Unless you are planning on printing huge posters photos.

Yeah but I had an Env touch before and the 3.2mp camera was pretty decent, the camera on this phone leaves much to be desired. At least on the 5mp you could step it down to 3mp and get a better image. I still don't know why it won't do TV, shouldn't this unit be identical to the sprint besides some small details? Sprint one does TV.
Even if it cost more they should still add an Uber edition, or even have one with built in 8gb.

The Sprint TV I believe is data based over the 3G network not the separate MediaFlo network that is a 1-way broadcast that the Imagio has built in via a separate antenna. That requires specific hardware inside. As for the upgraded TouchFlo 3D and WM6.5, you can get those already via custom ROMs at xda-developers.com or wait for an "official" release by Verizon, whenever that may be.

I like that TF3D 2.5 update very much. Now just need VZW to get off its *** and give it to us.

Some sites are already showing the TP2 At&t with the 6.5 and a newer touch wiz. It would be irresponsible if VZ hasn't been working to have this ready for launch. On the plus side it looks like we are more likely to get it that when the omnia 2 launches.

I could be wrong, but I don't think an unlocker for the CDMA versions of the Rhodium/TP2 has been completely worked out yet.

Should be soon, but not yet, at least according to what I've read at xda-developers, ppcgeeks, etc.

So I think that every Rhodium you see running a custom ROM with or without WM6.5 is a GSM one.

This is true (unless a HardSPL comes out while I'm writing this).

If you want V Cast Mobile TV, maybe you should just invest in a Slingbox (assuming you have cable/satellite). It will pay for itself in less than a year...
