Any idea what the No Contract price was for the G60 in store?

I've called one store in Port Huron MI and the sales guy had never heard of it...

Spazmogen, the price in store of the G60 was $250 with no contract. However, At&t has discontinued the G60. You can't find it on the website, and very few stores still have it stock. My local At&t store had two left (which were no longer on display) that they were about to ship back. That's why I decided to grab one (with contract) even though I had six months left with my current carrier. Your best bet is eBay.

Thanks. I'm already working Ebay. I see there's a Taiwan based phone up for $120 USD now.

I noticed Garmin has removed all accessories for the G60 from their webstore. The G60 is not feelin' The Love anymore.
Phone: Garminfone (Eclair 2.1) from T-Mobile now on Rogers!

Actually, that is not the one I'm bidding on. And looking back at that one, its Thailand, not Taiwan.

The mother of all Father's Day gifts: The Garminfone (and all T-Mobile phones) will be free this Saturday only. But you need to sign up for a family plan or add a new line to an already-existing family plan.

I knew it would happen again. I couldn't find my Yellow Pages icon (see previous post) so restarted the Nuvifone and voilá, Local Search showed up instead of Yellow Pages — interesting.

When I went to the previous screen and came back again, Yellow Pages showed up like usual.

Garmin Nuvifone G60 - One Year Contract?

Is this just for carrier subsidy unlock? My G60 is already unlocked from the code that AT&T gave me. Sometime after I unlocked mine, AT&T announced a pretty reasonable policy for issuing unlock codes.

I may have stumbled upon an "unlocking" solution.

Turbo SIM...what a simple concept. I've ordered it.

    eBay item: 120574872377

It may just be the cure I am seeking with the Garminfone. At one dollar I hope so. I have a lot to loose otherwise.

Total cost is about $3 shipped.

This should work with any normal sized SIM card, 3G or not. It won't work with microSIM's.

This should work the with G60 too...

It's still in transit from Hong Kong. I should know in about a week or 10 days.

It worked! I have a T-Mobile (locked) Garminfone on Rogers in Canada by using the Universal SIM.

Check over @ the T-Mobile forum on the T-Mobile site. I can't get it past EDGE (no 3G). But everything else works.
