At first I was reluctant to go to 3.1 cause I was hearing about it crashing. Anyway glad I did, I'm getting much better battery life by as much as 25%. Anybody else notice better battery life?
Definitely NOT. Noticeably worse on 3.1 for me. Same exact apps.

GOLDEN RULE: If you are using a iPhone 3G or iPhone 3G(S) with ultrasn0w and rely on ultrasn0w to obtain cellular service then you should only update your device with an .ipsw that is made with the new PwnageTool. There are no second chances with this. You need to remember that PwnageTool will provide an upgrade path to newer versions of the iPhone software in the future.
I am not exaggerating but my battery improved by at least 25 to 30%, like seriously. I am really happy I upgraded. This is so confusing though since a lot of people reported a lot of problems with their battery whereas I have nothing but excellent experience
my battery life seen just about the same, but there is something weird about my iphone yesterday, since the battery die in less than 6 hours, i guess something must be left running in the background.....
