Question Magic Alarm Problem? Or Is it Just My Phone

    Hi

I tried to set my alarm.
When I tested it, all it does is vibrate. I set it to a dreamer ringtone.

IS there something I'm missing or is there a problem with the alarm.

I could never get mine working. I'd set it, but it wouldn't go off.
I ended up downloading an Alarm app. I think it was called Alarmed.

(another called Alarming, I think, screwed my phone. I had to wipe it twice. Don't download!!)...

I hope I got the names right and not backwards. I don't have my Magic on me at the moment

i found that if your alarm is ON and you use something like advanced task manager and KILL it it will NOT go off... so you have to exclude it

Try checking the volume. When you set your alarm, go to the ringtone part to choose what ringtone you want, and while you have that open, click on the volume buttons. That's how I fixed my alarm volume because it was off before.

ALARMANIA is the name of the alarm app I use. It seems to work well. Warning: don't use Alarming. It messed my phone up twice. I had to wipe it...

I had the same problem. I made sure that the volume was up. when you go onto your screen with alarms, press menu, then settings and make sure "Alarm in Silent Mode" is not checked off. I changed it, now I have mp3's as my alarm ring. hope that helps
