I would actually respectfully suggest splitting the discussion into more focused topics like Hardware and Software/Technical Info and a continued speculation and pre release thread.
These are entirely separate discussions and groups of posters and the flood of interest in this device has already proven overwhelming despite all attempts to manage it.
Just my thoughts, thanks to the mods for all their efforts.

While I kind of agree. I think it would be best to wait for multiple threads until the phone has launched. It's already hard enough as it is to manage one thread.

We could try that. Unless FAU or HF9 wants to create a sub-folder in the Android forum just for motorola so there could be mulitple threads.
I would say we really only need 2 threads:
HW/SW/Technical Info
Pre-Release (which is pretty much a speculation thread)
The commercial was pretty cool, and I'm warming up to the DROID name. There's no robots in the commercial, but Out of curiosity are they going to get some custom theme designed by Lucasarts? (DROID is a Star Wars trademark BTW)
and lo behold, an announcement on OCT 30th at Midnight CST. The info is displayed in a code of some sort. The first post needs to be updated with this site URL at the very least.
