    Mike Data Plans

What are the current data plans for MiKE? And will they Match Rogers Retention data plan of $15 for 150MB of data?

    Thanks.

Data is so slow it'll probably take you half a month of 24/7 downloading to hit 150MB.

Google Maps on my 7520 is a lesson in patience.

I want an 8350i but I want a decent data plan, none of this 4MB crap they offer, that plan is just rediclous. Unlimited for $30 looks good =)

So lets say that the Compression Ratio is a 1:6 (Its probally more) and lets take iDEN data speeds.

19.2kbps at a Ratio of 1:6 is 115.2kbps, Which is beteween GPRS and EDGE, or close to 1XRTT.

Ideally the average speed is 13kbps, so in reality you would get about 78kbps, about GPRS speeds.

Not to shabby, and with Wi-fi for fast internet when at work or home, the Unlimited Data plan is a nice option
