Post New York an AWS market for Metro?

Yes the V3m Monster Pack for Metro does indeed exist and has for some while, the question is are you in one of Metro's new AWS markets up there in Ney York? If this is so you will need a newer tri band phone - cell, pcs, aws NOT like the old days when the tried to call 1x and evdo separate modes.
If you are in the new AWS market, the phone has to have the capability of running in the 1700MHz region as well as the 1900MHz PCS. Most of their newer phones do that, but the only RAZR model that is tri band is the V3S.
If this is the case, there is no way to flash to a solution. If you are in a normal PCS market then no sweat the V3m will do it for you. If you find you need it, go ahead and PM me and I can post another reply here. I am uploading a bunch of MwtroPCS monster packs to my online account now as I type.

    K1m for MPC

Here is the monster pack that you will want to use for your KRZR:
    MPC_K1M_00.26.1AP_PRIll53554_MONSTER_01.rar
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/z2fz2xklknm

The one thing I will forewarn you on is should your KRZR have Alltel's firmware version 01.15.00 on it or bootloader 0x000013 (you can check by putting in bootloader and plugging into RSD Lite), it will be more than likely you will have problems. These versions have the very same issues as the Verizon 01.19.07 and later. If you have that version Alltel, do your homework first!

Thank you for the file as well as for the warning. When I connected the phone to RSD Lite it said:

    Technology: CDMA 1X-EVDO
    Software Version: 24.0_00.26.11
    Flex Version: XS4ALT01K1M1NA77.0R_PRIkk45260 - 0.1.2.0.1.0.0.9.2.2.0.2.0.0.0
    Bootloader Version: N / A
    DRM Version: N / A

So, I don't know yet what I have.

You have the original firmware for the Alltel KRZR's.
You can just flash it to Metro with no problems.

Like I referenced above, to check the bootloader version you must first put the phone in bootloader.
This is done by holding the # and * while powering on, then plug it in and read it in RSD Lite if you want to be really sure.
I will bet that it is version 0x00000C most likely.

    K1m Update

You were right I did not have it in bootloader mode. Following your instructions this is what I obtained:

    IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A
    Technology: N / A
    Software Version: N / A
    Flex Version: N / A
    Bootloader Version: v0x00000D
    DRM Version: N / A
    Phone Type: Engineering (E1C0000000000000000000000000)

Do you still think that I can flash it with this bootloader version?

    Arrow

Not a problem at all. It will work just fine.

The only bootloaders you will ever need to work about are 000013 or 001303, and anything that is Sprint or Boost.
The Sprint and Boost bootloaders are 000006 or 000008 or 000009.
00000C and 00000D are the standard and common ones that are essentially fairly universal defaults for any carrier.
All the above is just for informational purposes...

You will have not problem at all flashing it with the MetroPCS .1A monster pack at all.

Here are links to the very latest versions of RSD Lite and the new internal drivers, both are version 4.6.0.
The internal drivers do not have MotoConnect in them like the consumer version which is how it used to be in the old days.
These are always the most ideal ones to use.

    Thanks for the education

Well, I received an education. Thank you for K1m 101. My drivers and rsd lite were much older than the links you sent me. So, now I have the latest. I was ready to flashe it then, I started thinking (that's the problem), do I flash it in bootloader mode or just normal? I thought it was in normal mode but, I didn't want to take the chance of messing it up now. Again thanks for all the help and knowledge that you have shared.

It doesn't matter. RSD Lite is going to switch it to bootloader mode before flashing, so...
The software will take care of everything. The only thing that I did forget to mention that has nothing to do with flashing is make sure you have the phone "MetroFlash"ed (I hate that term as they really do nothing but put a PRL on the phone and enter the ESN in their database. You will actually be truly flashing it.) since for whatever reason their equipment can't handle a phone with their firmware, but does not have the ESN in the database. You will hear a wonderfully stupid line out of the clone empoloyee like it must be stolen or lost. They are that stupid. One last thing, unrelated to what I was just saying, is once you flash it, dial *228 and select option 2 to update the PRL. It does not matter if the phone is online or not, Metro will still update it. 02004 is the latest current EVDO one that will be put on the KRZR automatically. Basically, you are good to go just flash whenever...

That shows how much I know. I thought my flash would put the metro prl on the phone and "metroflash" would only add the esn to their inventory.
If I flash it before taking it to metro for a "metroflash" will that remove any of the flasing I do? Basically should I do the "metroflash" before or after my flashing? Once I flash it. Will it work like an original metro K1m?

Yes your flash will put a PRL on there just an old one like 65 or 68 something like that. MetroFlash has an issue with anything that has their firmware or their PRL on it already. Also, whatever PRL is on the phone make sure you get signal. These guys are not too f**king bright! Once you have that done just read in your phone info, write it down, reflash it for real to their firmware, update the PRL to 2004 and reprogram you MDN, MIN, SID etc.
To get into the programming menu on it is #073887* from the main screen and all keys must be pressed within one second of each other, and should you make a mistake hit the END key twice. Your SPC will be 000000. That is the one other thing they do as a MetroFlash. That's it.

I had it metroflashed this morning, flashed it and everything seems to be working. Thanks for all your help. Funny, the more you explained to me the more questions I had. What would you suggest to become more knowledgeable about this stuff. Now, I have a lot more questions. Thanks again for your guidance.
