Quick question,
I bought a phone a week ago at full price so as not to sign a contract and be stuck with TMO should I find out their service blows in some of the area's I go to. It was bought at a TMO corp store
I am with in my 14 day return period. Can I return it to a different TMO store? or do I have to return it to the same store? It really does not matter to me because both are close but the one I did not get the phone from is closer. They did not have the phone but the further store did.
Thank
no you cannot
I was able to a year or two ago when I still had t-mobile. as long as you bought at corporate and return at corporate and have receipt.

The best thing to do is simply call and ask the store beforehand.
you know.. here a little know secret.. if you buy from a store... and cancel and dont return the phone.. nothing happens.. already did that 3 times...
but... it might.. it just might catch you....

Care will not cancel a contract without verification that the phone has been returned. They check their inventory and then they call u, By the way!

Yeah, if they do an inventory check, it just might happen.Originally Posted by cr0w
Yes you can return it to another T-Mo store as long as it's a corporate store, not a reseller like Wireless4U or anything like that. I bought a phone 2 hours away cuz I broke mine when I was out for the weekend, then found something better and returned it in the city i'm from. Done many times for various reasons, such as being out of town.
Bought at Corp Store, returnable to any other Corp Store.
Grool.
the new policy says to cancel service w/in the 14 day period, customer must return to point of purchase to return phone first. this was added to make it clear to customers that they couldnt return it to a NON Corporate location but some care reps take it by its word and wont let you cancel unless you return to the exact place it was purchased.
as long as it was purchased from a corporate store, it CAN be returned to any corporate store.
