    Page Plus vs. T-Mobile prepaid

So I did my calculations and Page Plus comes out a little cheaper over the long run. It's on a better network so that's a plus too.

My question is do I get messaging with Page Plus? With T-Mobile, texts will be deducted from my minutes. I don't use it often, but it's nice to have.

Edit: I'm not talking about the monthly plan. I'm referring to the $10, $50 refills.

Yes, texts are deducted from your balance at $0.08 each. That means, with

    - $10 refills: $0.12/min, $0.08/txt (1 txt = 0.667 min)
    - $25 refills: $0.09/min, $0.08/txt (1 txt = 0.889 min)
    - $50 refills: $0.08/min, $0.08/txt (1 txt = 1 min)
    - $80 refills: $0.06/min, $0.08/txt (1 txt = 1.25 min)

Tmobile cards can be bought at a discount (so can PP). (callingmart.com/ebay/bing/etc)

    $100 $0.08/min +
    # Text messaging (10˘ to send, 5˘ to receive, except for Sidekick plan).
    # Picture messaging (25˘ to send and receive).
PP-ability to switch to unlimited, 1200min, and maybe 500min plans
    vs
Tmobile- $1/day 7pm nights, no cost to switch back and forth.

Cost of CDMA phones vs GSM?

PP is supposed to have a $20 500min/500txt plan that would make any prepaid carrier look bad. It depends on your usage which is better. Tmobile prepaid has free roaming so check that map as it is pretty good.
