I might agree that it is sort of pointless because I didn't have any idea that the phone even had that capability. I need to go shake my phone and see what happens.

I agree it's pretty useless but I just wanted to see how it works. Not that I would use it. If I am out eating dinner or at work, I just put it in silent mode.

Can this phone be unlocked as other brands by T-mobile providing an unlock code to the subscriber, subject to their regular restrictions on this?

Yes, just call them after 40 days as a Ever More customer, they would give to you the next day or so. I can get mine in two weeks.

My Youtube app still works. And I can also watch YouTube through Opera Mini.

I looked and I could not find the jar and jad file. I think SE builds that You Tube app into the phone along with apps like Google Maps.

If it got deleted, I think you'll need to restore the full firmware from SEUS and then do whatever mods you had done before by following the wiki.

I don't find a tpa\preset\system\ams folder on my phone.

The tpa\preset\default\java has the files for Real Football, comeks and bubbletown which I think are the sample apps.
