    Thanks in advance.
Check Sony's site http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/prod...0?lc=en&cc=cai (or go to ebay, which I'm pretty sure is where I got my cable). One cable is the USB Cable DCU-60.

    That's all you need.

Thanks, that makes it clearer. Does the handset have a charger that can plug in at the same time as the DCU-60? Or can the DCU-60 supply all the phone's power even while the phone is making a call from the USB port to keep the battery fully charged as long as the DCU-60 is attached to a computer? Or if not does the charger provide enough power to fully power the phone even during calls?

Actually the Equinox I got, came with a USB cable. And yes, the phone does charge via USB port when connnected to a computer. So yes, the computer should keep it charged faster than a call would run the battery down.

Thanks again. The one you got came with a USB cable, as in the DCU-60? Or is a/the standard [included in the retail kit] USB cable which would be useful for charging and PC data synchronization / tethering not adequate for reprogramming the phone as is needed to change the customizations or reflashing or whatever, and so a different kind of USB cable [DCU-60] is needed for the latter?

One thing I noticed today is that Speed Dial doesn't work. It just took me to the phone book.

Are you holding down the key? If so, that's not the correct way to do speed dial. You just push the key and press call.

If you hold down the number, it takes you to the contact list to whatever letter corresponds with that number. For example, holding down the 6 key will take you to the M in your contact list.

I had an old cable, so I never took the included cable out of the box. But it's got a standard USB at one end and the SE proprietary connector at the other, same as the DCU-60, so I'm assuming it would work just fine.

Yes, I was holding down the key, got used to it with my Moto V9m. I figured that out later, just one more step to do. LOL

Well, so far everything works except when I push down the camera button, it would only open the appl page instead of going to the camera. Also, my Gesture Control does not work. Anyone?

Well there is a shortcut/Camera button under the call button if that's what you're referring to. It will bring up the shortcut menu and if the Camera shortcut is on the top, you can in theory press again to get the camera.

I don't mess with that. I just have the Navigation Up shortcut set to bring up the Camera and then it pops right up ready to take a picture.

Also, my Gesture Control does not work.
I'm assuming you turned it on in the settings. I don't usually keep mine on. Not sure why it wouldn't be working. Setting an alarm is the easiest way to test it.

Well, my camera is set on the up at the nav button. Just push up and it would go to the camera. Just wonder why the short cut menu cannot add what I want to add on, just delete is working. Every time I want to add something, it just said cannot go further.

Once you get to what you want to add, you add it by pressing the left smartkey which says Shortc.

Jet, you're da man again. Thanks, really appreciate your help in here. Right now the only thing that doesn't work is the Gesture Control. But it's not important. I either silent it when I am at work or have it rings when I am not.

If it helps, I read somewhere that you actually have to move your hand quite slow in front of the cam for it to work :3
