I made a wallpaper, split two colors left/right. Correct size, and each color has a width of 480. On the middle screen, its split perfectly. On the left screen, its the solid left color. On the right screen, THERE IS ONE PIXEL of the left color going straight down on the left edge. If I edit the image to extend the right color one pixel to the left, then the LEFT screen has one pixel of the right color on the right edge while the right screen is solid.
This will be a problem for me, and yes I'm aware that I'm insane.

hmmm, sounds like the actual wallpaper size is 959x854, with the center line of resolution being shared.... or would that be 958? its late and my brain hurts.
EDIT: tried 958, with 479 on each.... i still get the left bleeding 1px on the right side... and this is in the emulator.... weird.

I made some wallpapers, mainly cause I need something to do while I impatiently wait out the final few days until the Droid comes out.
First, some general "Nature"-y wallpapers. These will work with the weird divide because there's just vista and no real focus to the images:
And next some anime wallpapers. Don't know if anyone here is a fan, but this wallpaper thread is pretty bare so what the heck:
I brightened up the Droid Eye if anybody would like it...
do you not see all the compression artifacts? no offense, i know doing this takes time, but that picture looks like doo-doo.... maybe it would look better if you started with the original image instead of photoshopping a photoshop... also, try working with PNG instead of JPG.
Can someone make one that has lights out of focus, sort of like the ones in this review? I don't want the background to be too busy. A nice gradient wallpaper could work too. Thanks!
