Any Sprint Mvnos besides Boost cdma that allows any Sprint phone?

Gsm is easy. Iden is pretty clear cut. Even Verizon mvnos in general allow Verizon phones. But Sprint? Anyone know of any Sprint mvnos BESIDES Boost cdma which most definitely allows Sprint postpaid esns on their system WITHOUT hassles? Thanks.

I'm late, and I think you're aware of the providers now, but I'll post anyway.

So far, I know of two that accept Sprint ESN's.

    1) Eclipse Mobile

    2) PlantiumTel

I know somebody that tried a Sprint phone on PlantiumTel and it worked fine, but I haven't see anybody activate on Eclipse Mobile.

Then again, Eclipse Mobile didn't launch their plan yet, so that would explain why..

Who has been able to put any Sprint esn on Platinumtel? I went through the thread and the posters that states they were told that then were told they couldn't from what I read maybe I missed it. Can you point me to the poster who actually was able to do it?

I'm not sure who it was, but I talked to someone on AIM that activated a Sprint ESN on PlantiumTel successfully.

I think they used the activation link for PlantiumTel you put in another thread.

    I'll double check with them.

Sorry about that, I thought it was you.

They followed the link in this post:

Then, they activated a Sprint phone and said it worked. I'll double check with them, like I said.

I talked with PlatinumTel. They said that they have seen Sprint phones work on their service, but they don't 'guarantee' they will work. They kept saying it isn't recommended, but I finally got them to say that they have seen Sprint phones work.

I'm guessing they have seen the non-exclusive Sprint phones work.

They also told me that they don't provide the codes for the phone. That means the person needs to program the phone themselves if the customer activates a Sprint phone.

So, I guess I found out that they will activate a Sprint ESN, but it is an 'at your own risk' type thing. They don't 'support' it, but it works.

You know someone who used the link just posted by EclipseMobile a few minutes ago?

Maybe the people who have tried would like to know who that was? I mean the link was just posted who activated it and told you?

It wasn't posted just a few minutes ago, it was yesterday. They had a spare Sprint phone and typed in the ESN to test it out. They told me it worked. That's all I know. Like I said, I'm going to double check with them. If they want to post here they can, that is up to them.

If it didn't activate on Ptel, it didn't work , period. Taking the esn does not prove anythng conclusive. I am going to wait and see if Eclpse is indeed for real. They would be like Boost cdma $10 cheaper with way more phone selection and way less hassle if what they say is true. BYOD sounds great but waiting 2-24 hours sounds kind of lame.

I think this will get dealers to push the cheaper Eclipse phones to impatient customers unless they have really nice Sprint phones they don't want to part with.

They must have loaded a Platinumtel pin first in order to see whether the esn took. I would think they would have posted that it worked here in the forum is that was the case since there is a burgeoning group of Platinumtelers here.

I called Platinumtel a few weeks back, the CSR told me that if I had the MSL for my Sprint Treo she would sure be happy to TRY and activate it for me.

Unfortunately, I don't have the MSL.

I'll contact them the next time they're on AIM and ask.

Not that my word means much to offthegrid as defense but, when I called as a test, I said I would like to activate my Sprint Treo 650 , is this possible (Amanda) CSR said , Sure Can, Whats the ESN so we can check it.
