At best the longest I'd do is 1yr seeing as I don't like keep a device much longer then that anyways if even that long. However going and pay full retail is just insanity also IMO. Kinda why I always own at least 2 or 3 devices so I can swap between them so I don't get bored of the same thing day in and day out and just stay with a 1yr contract if it works out right.

Yeah, but you might want to lose the first screen you posted. Sucks that I cant get the Droid yet.

Posting from the Droid. WOW is the browser nice and speedy. Keyboard will take getting used to for sure...

So I guess Lynne got units out to all the customer council members?

For everyone who got it today, please go outside and try the camera and see if the autofocus (green corners) is working properly, or if it's having problems focusing (red corners).

The number is incomplete, a MEID number is much longer than that. It's only 3 days but you'll love it.

The preinstalled 16GB card comes empty.

We have 19 lines and a 59/mo data card, we don't get treated any different...

for all you saying don't sign a 2 year contract... I plan on staying with verizon for 2 years, I DO NOT plan on staying with the same phone for 2 years... for the past 5 or so years every 6 months I get a new phone for usually a very small price... this is how i'm getting my droid for $50... I currently have an LG dare, when the droid comes out I will sell the dare for $100-150 (have an offer for $125 now), then purchase the droid at $199 (cost me $25-75), of course that uses the NE2... if a new phone comes out I know about it because i'm a HF member, before that new phone comes out I will sell my current phone and use a backup until I can purchase it full retail, full retail is usually only $0-50 after all is said and done with selling and purchasing the new phone, and you now have a "top of the line phone" that will fetch much more when you sell it 6 months later... i've done this with the chocolate 2, chocolate 1, razr v3m, razr v3c, VX-6100, VX-6200, VX-3200 and will do this with my dare
