Doesn't look too bad for a "dumphone". The camera is what appeals to me...!

any news on this? any good?
If we look into the specs, it seems to have wifi on it, not too many phones have this available on them, even the newest smartphones don't have wifi since Bell want you to pay for a data plan... The only concern is that Bell claim there's 1GB of available user memory but on another website its say its around 24mb which would be totally useless. If I'm lucky, I'm gonna have this phone next week (lets hope it will be in stock) I got so many plans on getting a new phone recently but this is the right one I think, last month I was thinking about getting the samsung reclaim but decided to wait for the HSPA network.
If anyone finds any reviews about this phone and can find the real name cause there's another samsung phone with the same name that isn't the ImpactMC.
As far as I can tell, it is the Samsung T749 Highlight, which means no WiFi. But then again, they said it is exclusive to Bell, maybe its aspecial model, or they just mean exclusive in Canada.![]()
Thanks for the quick response, now I can look a little bit more into details even if not exactly the same model, I don't consider the wifi a needed thing for my choice but it would be awesome to have it (got to go a lot faster on the net I guess with the HSPA so wifi not needed except if they change the unlimited browser plan which I need to upload ringtones to the phone)

The screen is abit small at 2.6 inchs only. We will see how well it runs opera mini VS the Instinct/Xenon before i pass judgment on it.
I still think the HTC Touch is a better idea then this phone :P
Hum, the official name T746 doesn't come with any reviews yet, the only thing we get is that Bell have it and some press release about it.
I want to know if it has the wifi thing (Bell website claim it is wifi ) and really 1gb of user memory, that would be awesome if its not locked for some special things, on my A920 I got 20 something... not sure on it but can't upload more than 15-20 ringtones, still have 10mb left but phone claim its full and I can't install anything to it.

this phone is identical to the samsung highlight. I was at Bell mobility today, and those people don't know ANYTHING! they told me that it's a smartphone, when clearly it isn't. The people on the Bell homepage, however, told me that it is capable of having unlimted mobile browser. if you want to get anything done properly with Bell, the best thing to do is call *611...
Cheers

The name is "T-746", Scroll to 2:09 and see the boot screen showing that.
It has no wifi...
Here is some FCC data

Sorry, never saw the youtube video. As I said, it might be a special model with a special model number with a special name so it can be made "exclusive" to Bell.Originally Posted by eric2k

I still can see wifi on the specs page for the Samsung ImpactMC and they also state there's 1gb of available user memory, maybe that's because I speak french and I'm on the french Bell website, sometimes they aren't accurate, gonna check the english version quick.
OH, maybe that's why. That would be weird though, that they aren't accurate on the french site.Originally Posted by Dodge34
