Good find! Thanks.
thanks houseape!
Folks,
Does it work now?
There should be two APNs for data connectivity: consumer.telus.com and sp.telus.com.

jyeung,
I have tried the consumer.telus.com on the iPhone but it does not wrok.
Then stick with sp.telus.com; I believe consumer.telus.com requires some other proxy settings to be entered.

Has anyone been able to send a pic msg???

A way to check if your prospective phone has said iBoot is to check the week of manufacture, by checking the serial number on the box at the store you're buying the iPhone from--the 4th and 5th digits will be the week code. If they're 40 or higher, you've got the new iBoot. I checked every 32GB phone at the TELUS dealership here, and every one was week 42 or 43. The 16GB ones were all 42 as well. (no iPhone 3G, so I couldn't check.)
That doesn't mean they can't be jailbroken, it just means they can't be fully or properly jailbroken--they get a "tethered jailbreak", which means if you have to reboot your phone for any reason, it will just show a "connect to iTunes" screen, and won't boot properly until you plug it back into your computer, and run Blackra1n (the only app capable of jailbreaking this new iBoot insofar) again.
(seeing as that's the case, good luck finding someone who has the proper settings you need!)
Why wouldnt telus just give us the info? Wouldnt they want us to use data?
They will give you the settings... but to be honest on the first day the network launches i really don't wanna bother waiting for 30 to 45 mins for the settings.. plus i just want the ipcc file it takes like 3 seconds and its done...
