Who is your email provider? At this time there is no real direct link or sync to get your Outlook email on to the phone.

worked fine on my curve...I wish I could see how i had that setup..but now that i'm not activated I can't access email setup anymore
You can always try these two.

    outgoing.verizon.net or smtpout.verizon.net

Let me state these would ONLY be used for SMTP/outgoing server.

Those websites will not work as MS Exchange OWA is not running there. Do you have an IT Admin that handles your email? Is this even Corporate Email?

you may have to call them to see if this can even be setup as you may have to just log in via web interface. But there is POP and IMAP info there.

    Bluetooth voice dailing?

Are you able to push a button on your bluetooth headset to "wake up" the phone (without touching the phone), and then dail from voice command (like you can on the BB Storm)?

I know how to change the ringtone for a text message, but it doesn't seem to pull ringtones from the ringtone folder with my custom ones. Anyone have any idea how to do this?

    EDIT:

I also added that power control widget to my home screen via the menu-> add button. How do I remove the damned thing? My add button seems to be blanked out and I thought I could go into that and remove the power control widget...

    Thanks

    Battery Tips:

Want to extend your battery life? Try these:
    • To turn off automatic applications sync, touch
    Menu > Settings > Accounts & sync.
    • To turn off Bluetooth power, touch Menu
    > Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth.
    • To turn off Wi-Fi, touch Menu > Settings
    > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi.
    • To add a Power Control widget, touch Menu
    > Add > Widgets > Power Control.
Note: The Power Control widget is a simple way to
    enable/disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth™ wireless, GPS,
Sync (turns on/off all active accounts, Google, and
    Exchange), and display brightness.
You can expect the following battery charge times:
    Usage—up to 385 minutes
    Standy—up to 270 hours

For Message Alert Tones, you have to create a folder on the SD card named "notifications" and place the music file in there.
That way you can add them for TXT Message alerts.

To remove anything from the Desktop, press-and-hold it and drag it to the bottom of the screen (will turn red).

"Tap widget and hold your finger down. You will notice that the “slider” that normally brings up all of your installed programs turns into a “Trash can”.
Drag the widget to that “Trash can”. Both the widget and the “Trash can” will turn red. At this point, let go of the widget (release your finger). That will “drop” it in the trash. "

Has anyone transferred music from a mac? Can you use itunes? Or does it just mount to the desktop and drag and drop?

Does the Droid have the ability to disable data usage (over cell network) but continue to use Wifi? Like a wifi only mode?

If yes, when in "wifi only mode" can you still receive and send text messages?
