I called CS today and she said that you MUST bring the flyer in order to get the promotion. I asked her where my flyer is and she said "it's in the mail".
Does anyone know if it will be in the local paper if I don't get it in the mail?
I didnt get a flyer with either I thought this was just a huge sale I didnt know u needed the flyer. I think the lady u talked o may have be wrong or heard wrong
That wouldn't be right? Why would they do that and only send them to some customers? I've been a customer for almost 15 years, and I didn't get one, at least yet... If that's the case, I'm not going to be a happy customer!!!

Went in today at about noon. Talked to them about RIM's internet problems. Nothing they can do. It's on RIM. As for the Black Friday promo, the guy couldn't have been nicer. I explained that my 30 days was up on Thanksgiving, and that I'd like to receive the promo price. He said they should be able to do that. Looked at my ID, looked at my account, put notes in my account for Black Friday. He talked like I could come in any day I wanted during the promo. I was just happy to have the offer extended to me, so I said Friday was fine. Very easy. I was very pleased with the experience.
We'll probably have to stand in line on BF, that's just the way it is. But for $180, it's worth it.

WOW, that's great news. I will try and do the same thing this weekend I believe. Not much sense in waiting until the last moment.

So here's the deal... I renewed my contract on 10/01because I had to, dropped my Hint in the dog's water dish. Got a Tritan paid 149 for it and got all the rebate paperwork. Did not send in the rebate paperwork and instead returned it within the 30 days on 10/27 when the Tour was released. Paid around $100 extra for it and got all the rebate paperwork then. Is there anything anyone will be able to do for me to get the price match on the BF sale? Would my 30 days revert back to when I originally got the Tritan or would I have 30 days from when I got the Tour on 10/27? By BF, I will probably be at about 31 days. Thanks....
I called our local shop here & the gal who answer the phone was so hesitant on giving info or answering the questions. I asked about the BF sale and she was like "what sale?". I said the one for a free phone. She asked if I got something..I said no but everone knows about it. She asked "how?" Internet, duh! Said it's all over the internet and she couldn't believe it. Maybe she doesn't need to be working in a technology industry?? It was just as a prior post said (letter from USCC). She said because I mentioned it they would honor it. The employees cannot suggest it first.I asked about the limited to supply on hand and she said it was.

It's 30 days from the day you bought the Tour. Several of us bought it on the same day. I asked about it, so did a USCC customer in WI. Both locations told us we could come in and get the promo price on Black Friday. I'd check with your location, but it's been pretty positive news thus far.

Any word on early hours at stores yet for the Black Friday weekend? I have been to a few and have not seen any signs posted encouraging people to come in early.
That's not true at all, i've been to my local corp store 3 times already to play with the TP 2 and i have asked this very question every time and they assured me this wasn't true

This doesn't make any sense. Current customers can take advantage of the promotion so long as they are eligible, as discussed ad nauseam in this thread.
Also, as I mentioned in the other needless thread on this topic, the flier will be up on USCC's Facebook page next week under the "Offers" tab, just print it out.
