I bought my Tour on the 29th and will also try to take part in the price match or return if it comes to fruition. Is there any reason not to send in my rebate forms until then? I have until the 12th of December to postmark it. I just don't want to get into any situation where I can't do the return or match because I already sent in for the rebate. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.
The store took care of my rebate so that's a question for me as well. Also, can we just ask for the price match if we already have the Tour or another phone or do we have to go through the process of taking the phone off and re-buying it?
They will NOT be honoring the flyer early. Reason being the flyer clearly states the dates this promotion is running, and it will only be honored during those dates. Trust me

I did call a few stores 2 out of 3 said no one said yes
but I will try it if I do get a flyer just to see. no harm in trying.

You are correct, it will not be honored, and again, the TP2 will not be part of the sale, the TP2 will not be out in time is what i have been told by a reliable source.
I was also told today by a souce that's be reliable in the past, that she didn't think that the Pro 2 will make it out before the 4-day sale. There is a slim to non chance. But she did confirm rumors we've been hearing / reading that there would be some phones that would be free, after paying the rebate upfront, then getting it back in the mail.

While that may match your last renewal, it technically has nothing to do with your contract dates.
You can, however, get a used phone, and it will typically be up to 50% off retail. No rebate, however.
I always thought that you had to be 18 months into your contract on all phones. I got my lg rhythm last November so does that mean I am almost at 12 months on a dumb phone and should be able to get a new phone? Is this in writing somewhere?
watch what you say and do because little eyes are watching you
As long as you have had a non-smartphone active on your account for the last 12 months, you will be eligible to upgrade to a smartphone or premium device.

Cant do that if you already have a smartphone and renew with another smart phone?
