I called and made a ticket two weeks ago, tech muddled with something and now my phone fails to send any MMS. I called in again and complained.
The CSR said she was aware of the issue, but no progress has been made. She did offer me a 50% discount though, so if you're looking to make that first iBill a little easier. :P
mine still hasnt been fixed, i got a text the other day saying they were working on it... but now that you say discount, i think i will call back again

Folks,
A friend of mine has sent a test MMS with his iPhone 3G S (on TELUS) in the West to my CDMA hanset... "no data to display". However, when open it manually, looks like it has chopped into 2 "parts": a text file and a image file. The text file is basically the subject title.

I called back today. "Its a known issue on the network.....The data department has no idea whats wrong and their working on it....There's a lot of tickets but we've closed them....Keep checking to see if it works."
I said I'd keep checking, but I expect a another credit if it not fixed by next week. He said that's fair and added a note to my account.
I would rather have the mms working at this point...
mine still doesnt work... they gave me 50 dollars credit and a month of local calling, which is up soon... when that happens i will be calling again...
the thing that bothers me even more is every time i call i get connected to people that dont know anything about this problem and act like i am crazy, and when i say lots of ppl have this problem, they say no they have not heard of it.
And did you try asking that they purge or reset the mag 6 adapter?
yup and they said they have tried everything and that added me to a list of people with the problem and would let me know when they have figured it out...
still they have no idea how to fix my MMS, and when i talk to LNR, she had the balls to tell me that Telus will only guarantee that I can make phone calls and that text messages are a LUXURY and therefore Telus doesn't have to make sure they work. I was dumbfounded.
I got an MMS (picture message) from a Rogers iPhone to my Telus iPhone a few days ago. I don't think I've sent any though.
But i'm also curious:

-Another 2 months with 50% off
-A whole bunch more resetting
-Test pictures to CDMA claim to have been received
I'm waiting on real people on Telus CDMA to tell me wether they got my msg's and I'll report back here. The tech I talked to was very nice, but we'll have to see how good she is. EG: She wanted to know if I had any other questions while we waited for something, and claimed that texting is included wherever you are in North America (I had to hold back tears at this point).

Woah there. I'll say 3 things. 90% of the people in the DNA department are actually quite retarded. Secondly...never ever hope for "trouble tickets" to do anything about a problem that the rep is not sure about. And lastly...texting is NOT included while anywhere in north America. It used to be included in the United States and other regions covered by verizon, but as of now you get charged 60 cents per incoming and outgoing text message. And data fees for mms. So be careful with that.
In regards to someone elses comment...i've also noticed that brand new accounts have no issues. But previous CDMA accounts migrated to hspa are running into issues.
