    I hear ya, chevyman!!..
I saw an email notice on this thread a few days ago and was hopeful there was some type of resolve. But as you stated I'm still wanting to know "is this as good as it gets?"..

I'm convinced it is a software/firmware problem as anytime I use it whether still or vid, when it first comes up the light level will be actually way to high and then it instantly adjust and it's pretty much dark from there on. Very annoying when actually needing to grab a decent pic.

Maybe,,,, ?????, We just haven't seen the correct thread that explains how to adjust or levels..
PLEASE!! if anyone has seen more info on this, by all means post something for those of us literally in the dark..

    Many thanks
    X/BillyD..
Loved e815, V9m but Droid, just WOW so far.

I have to say that the pics from my camera are terrible most of the time indoors, and outdoors isn't very good either.

Take a look at my post in this thread regarding the bad outdoor beach pics, and then later in the thread the green and pink blobs...

    http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...&page=31&pp=15

The pink blobs didn't appear until I got my phone replaced with a refurb.

I am tempted to gamble again and get another phone (see if they can give me a non-refurb)...

My wife has the ENV3 and I the droid so I can compare. The ENV3 takes better pictures indoors and the droid seems to do slightly better outdoors in good sunlight, however the droid is slower to focus and take the picture so half the time the subject (kids) move and blur.

I absolutely can NOT take a picture anywhere, in any kind of lighting, that is clearly focused. I do get the green 4 corners which indicate it is focused, but the pictures are terrible compared to my N95. Has anyone taken a picture with their Droid that they consider really good??
