Seeing many individual threads about this problem or that...how about a central thread where everybody can compare notes?
Anybody else having an issue with email where you'll be notified you have a new email, you go to check it and the timestamps are wrong, putting the new emails the wrong order? I'm trying to figure out if this is a problem with my verizon.net email or if it's the phone itself...
I also seem to have a problem where I have to unlock the phone after pulling it away from my face in order to end a call (instead of the phone auto unlocking so you can click "end"...)

This may be a deal breaker for me. As much as I love the screen and all, I am not going back to wired headsets. If Verizon can't remedy this, I'll try the Eris.
My text messages keep locking up and it will pop up saying wait or force quit i've had to pull the batter out a ton of times..... this is getting rediculous
2 Gmail accounts. Both have no new messages. Account not tied to the phone shows 1, but there is nothing when you open it. Will not go away, even after deleting and re-adding the account.
Cannot select multiple messages in Gmail app for batch delete/label/etc.
sure you can.open your mail and there are little check boxes on the left side. tap each of those and a menu will display at the bottom with options to Archive, Labels and Delete.
Thanks, been trying to find that all day, no idea why I didn't notice the checkboxes. Guess I just got used being able to use mulit-touch on the Storm to select more than one. This will work, but a single gesture would be preferred over multiple taps.
Great thread idea. Thank you. I got into the Maps app and simulated some routes. I closed the map and opened it back up but now it won't start. It shows an error message: "The application Maps (process com.google.android.apps.maps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." The only option I have is "Force close" Anyone got a fix for this that won't involve me losing everything on a factory reset?

Do a factory reset of your phone. You're having a software issue.
My Droid completely locked up when I was retrieving voice mail. There was nothing on the screen, although I could tell the back light was still on. The buttons were unresponsive, including the on/off button. I had to remove the battery to reboot it.
Only issue I have come across is that if I leave a text message open and the phone goes to sleep(black screen), when I get a new text message and push the power button to wake it up, the text message is up, but when I click the text box, the onscreen keyboard doesnt come up. If I press back or home, nothing happens, after 10 seconds it asks if I want to force quit or wait for the app.
If I click wait, the keyboard comes right up. If I force quit, it closes and I can go back in normally.
The workaround is to either slide the phone open and i can use the physical keyboard, or slide the phone open then closed and the onscreen works like normal.
Not really an issue, just a quirk, and it only happens maybe one out of ten times this scenario. I just close the text message after replying out of habbit now.
this is kind of random... my language is set to english but when i go into the menu to add widgets to my home screen the widgets are listed in spanish... any idea how to fix this?
EDIT: This was fixed by a restart. guess i can cancel those spanish classes
