1. Phone reception sucks. Had no problem with my Storm, now i constanty have to say, "Do you hear me now?" (Friend with verizon next to me had 3 bars on their phone, compared to my one.)
2. Email kinda of crappy. I have a paid yahoo plus account. While i have the phone to check for new emails every 5 minutes, it took 2 hours after receiving an email on Outlook to let me know.
3. Another email issue, there was three particular random emails that kept coming across the Droid unread. I would read them and it would clear, but everytime it kept picking the exact random emails as unread. I had to delete those emails to fix the issue. (I hate deleting emails unless it's spam.)
4. Wifi does not automatically connect to the network or it keeps dropping connection.
5. Camera focus
6. can't send mms
Honorable mentions since it not acutally a "problem" or anything that can be done to fix the issue.
A. Keyboard is pretty much worthless
B. Facebook app is weak compared to iphone or a blackberry
C. The Widget list should be allowed to be configured like the home page. I should be able to rearrange the icons!
Anyone else getting a lot of freezes followed by a reboot? I had 5 between 9am-5pm yesterday, swapped for a new phone, had 3 since then. I've cleared out my apps, killed running processes, but sometimes it just seems to get confused then reboots.

Wherein the bolded part lies your problem.

Yup. I've seen these too.

You may be correct compared to a Blackberry, but I have to disagree in the general case. Some will like it, others will not. I find it to be ok, not amazing, but does the job.

LOL. AFAIK the 2.0 app's been out for one day! Remember how crappy the Facebook app was on iPhone when it launched there?

My reception has been great. Keyboard is better than I thought it would be. A little adjustment from my Curve but not bad at all. There are certainly better ones out there though. Maybe an improvement for the next version. My biggest problem is my right hand touching the 4 haptic buttons with the slider open. I wonder if your BB Facebook app was different than the one on the Curve because this one on the Droid is SO much better than the one on my Curve.
Random Freeze ups followed by roboots.
Can connect to my WiFi, gets ip addy, but no internet.
I have yet to do a Hard Reset, but I plan on it tomorrow.
1. Car Dock: When in Car Dock, phone doesn't automatically go into Speakerphone mode when you receive a call (dangerous to have to slide to accept call, and then also find the little speakerphone button).
2. WiFi: Phone loses connectivity when changing modes - when I arrive home to go on WiFi or leave home and lose WiFi - required power cycle to clear connection errors. This is a real PITA...something about how the Droid hands off data connectivity between WiFi and CDMA isn't working right. When the problem occurs, the Droid shows connected to my WiFi network.
I also had really bad reception with the Droid. It was so bad on a few call that I could not even understand the other person. Staticy (?) on other calls. I brought it back to the store hoping they would give me another phone but they would not. So, I am back to my curve which has excellent reception and clarity. I am very dissapointed because I really liked the Droid.
Third Issue I've found: Woke up this morning...no new emails...strange, so I check my Desktop and find outlook copied three new messages from the server...pull the battery, phone restarts and downloads 4 new messages (one new one outlook didn't ping for yet)...
This could be very annoying...

Once turning off / on the Wifi adapter the phone froze on me. Meh, no big deal. This device is complicated, props to Motorola, Google, and Verizon for making it work this well.
Only other gripe is camera focus as noted. Mine seems to work pretty good actually, but for some reason "Barcode Scanner" works all the time, but "ShopSavvy" doesn't. In other words I will sit with ShopSavvy for like a minute on a barcode trying to get it to recognize it. And you can see the camera constantly refocusing itself.
I expect the camera issues to be resolved in a firmware update though.
Call reception is great for me, 3g is great. In fact I drove from Muskegon Michigan to Lansing Michigan while using Pandora on my phone, and at the same time being able to do other things like use the GPS and it worked sweet. This is all on a major interstate though
Still I have only found one location in my county so far that has wasn't able to stream Pandora while on 3G.
verizon !! the only reliable network in central n.y.!!

every one needs to download an app , task killer ! my phone was sluggish because all of the apps i had running were always running even though i hit the home button ! this will improve the os operations dramatically and improve battery life ! there are free and paid (cheap) ones in the market !
